CARP NS Official Opening of the 2nd annual
Blue Mountain Plein Air Art Show
The Keshen Goodman Library
330 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, N.S.
Saturday, September 1st, 2018
2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Admission is Free

Well known artists Tom Forrestall and Joy Laking will both have new works to show. Other contributors include Gail Sutherland, Geoffrey Grantham, Ron Kuwahara, and Carol Morrison.
The show runs from Sept. 1st through Sept. 30 and can be viewed during regular library hours.  The exhibit is hosted in partnership with Halifax Libraries, the Halifax North-West Trails Association, CARP Nova Scotia and Friends of BMBCL Society.
More than 20 Nova Scotia artists have united for this superb show. The commitment by the artists for this exhibition demonstrates their continued support for the formation of one of the largest urban, wilderness parks in Canada. The artists selected scenes inside the Blue Mountain – Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area (BMBCLWA), including the newly acquired HRM lands around Hobson Lake. The artists have personally visited the Wilderness Area to create this superb exhibition.
The exhibit is hosted in partnership with Halifax Libraries, the Halifax North-West Trails Association, and CARP Nova Scotia. All of the paintings are for sale by the artists and will be on display through September 30.
