Dear C.A.R.P. NS Members, Colleagues & Friends
On June 17th C.A.R.P. Nova Scotia launched its Home Care Position Paper in partnership with the MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance. An expert panel discussed the challenges and opportunities for ‘Working Together to Bring Home Care Home’. It is now time to turn our Position Paper into action.
C.A.R.P. NS is a member of the Seniors’ Advisory Council of Nova Scotia (SACNS) https://novascotia.ca/seniors/groupIX.asp. On May 13, 2021, SACNS agreed to adopt the C.A.R.P. NS Position Paper’s five (5) Priority Actions and rationale as its own. Collectively these nine (9) organizations represent more than 120,000 older Nova Scotians. It is important we build on this commitment and successful launch and work together to help ensure these five Priority Actions become a reality. Collectively we can make a difference!
The recording of the Home Care discussion may be found on the MacEachen Institute YouTube channel. Please share with your family, friends and networks.
